Ducati aimed to offer a bike with high levels of reliability and comfort, an engaging riding experience, and superior safety. Those primary virtues helped make the Multistrada V4 an instant
That is where you adjust to lower or raise your seat height. Do not touch any rear shock linkage.just that adjustment nut and lock nut. Ducati Multistrada
The angle of the DP seat is much flatter than the stock seat and there is much less of a sense that you are sliding forward into the tank. The DP has at least a half inch extra padding than the stock, so ride height is increased as the padding is firm as well. 1998 944 CR, 2005 1000 SS, 2019 1260 Pikes Peak. D.
Ducati does not offer a low suspension option. I am 5'8" and have no problem with my '17 Multi 1200 S but I wouldn't want to deal with a bike that is much taller. The low seat option on the V4S would allow me to get both feet on the ground (flat foot) but I dread dropping it in some off camber parking lot. However at 5'6" the seat height is an issue. I've sat on 2013 bike which was just too tall as standard and I've also tried 1200 DVT which was much better due to the lower narrower standard seat. Unfortunately the DVT costs more than I would like to spend and I'd ideally like an early 1200S. Having done some research I'm aware of the OEM lowerCFMH.
