There are three modes on the keyboard backlight. These are Off Low (dim), and High (bright). To turn on or off the backlight, press Fn + Spacebar. 1st press: Turn, dim, 2nd press: Turn bright. 3rd press: Turn off. Please turn off your keyboard backlight and check if there are any changes if you press Fn+Spacebar twice.
The first time I booted it, they keyboard appeared to work fine except for the power LED not lighting. Subsequently, it would power off randomly within a very short time of being powered on; this would occur even in the BIOS or boot selector, assuming I could get far enough to hit F2 or F9. OMG. I've had this problem for like 9 months at least, wrote to official Lenovo site (can't access their support from my country lol), tried different solutions and then just used external keyboard. THIS FIXED MY ISSUE. Probably not for long, but this is better than not having working keyboard.
Press Windows key + R to open the Run command line, and type in devmgmt.msc. Expand Keyboard, right-click the keyboard device, and click on the Update driver. Next, click on Search automatically for drivers. Windows now automatically looks for the latest drivers and updates them accordingly.
